After returning to my hotel, I searched for “Writer’s Club and Wine Bar.” It seems that this might be the only writer’s club and wine bar in the world. It was created by Bob Tilley and his wife, Tong. Bob is a former foreign correspondent for The Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph.
It is also known as the ‘’city’s unofficial press club’’; this place hosts many people interested in and related to the media. There are often travel writers propping up the bar. However, you don’t have to be a member of the press or media to enjoy the comfortable setting of this place. This bar and restaurant are popular with ex-pats and travelers looking for a more low-key drinking experience with wine by the glass.
