b. Make being open-minded a habit. The habits we developed influence the life we live. If we consistently take our feelings of anger and frustration as cues to approach the subject at hand thoughtfully, we will become more open-minded.

c. Get to know your blind spots. It is probably easy to see what others don’t see but not when it comes to our own blind spots. And this can be deadly if we are closed-minded and trying to make a decision in an area where we have a blind spot.
