I asked them what would make them happy at work? It turns out that what they are looking for is very simple. They are not looking for a job that they can learn and grow. They do not have to feel excited or motivated every day. They understand that there is ups and downs in every job whether you are the CEO or just a worker bee. As long as they enjoy what they are doing, they are happy.
The way how they explained to me was every job has its pros and cons, there are always things that you like to do and things you don’t. Once you figured out what you like, hold steady even when things get tough. To them, it is not the job that is going to decide whether they will be happy at work or not.
